Koka was a 16-1/2 inch tall, 19 lb. black, tan and white Basenji who remained

exceptional in her coursing abilities through the ripe old age of 9-plus.

Koka’s AKC lure coursing achievements:

Master Courser (MC) title

#1 AKC Basenji in 1993

#1 AKC Lure Coursing Sighthound in 1993  (AKC Best in Field system)

5 Best in Fields, 19 Best of Breeds

Koka’s ASFA achievements:

Lifetime Basenji #3

International Invitational BOB’s  - (4) 1993, 1996 (both days), 1999

Lure Courser of Merit 5 title

Best of Breed 2000 Basenji National Specialty from the Veteran stake,

defeating 40 dogs

3 Best in Fields, 53 Best of Breeds

Annual Top Twenty Basenji, 8 times

Region 8’s annual highest scoring Basenji, 4 times

Koka has been nominated for the ASFA Hall of Fame

Recently left this world for the Rainbow Bridge
